Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Content Manager to oversee the creation, execution, and delivery of digital content across multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile, apps, SMS, and email. This role requires a strong background in managing, editing, and producing both technical and creative content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent writing skills, a deep understanding of branding, tone, and voice, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, review, and edit content created by a team of creative and technical writers.
- Manage content timelines, workflows, and handoffs to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, design, development, SEO, marketing, and communications teams.
- Develop engaging, high-quality content that aligns with brand messaging and user behavior insights.
- Contribute to and maintain content strategy as defined by leadership.
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates throughout the content development lifecycle.
- Ensure content aligns with developer specifications, UX best practices, and brand guidelines.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all content pieces.
- Utilize content management systems such as Sitecore and WordPress for content publishing and updates.
- Understand user-centered design principles, including wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Conduct content audits or inventories to assess and improve the organization and effectiveness of existing content.
- Adapt language and style to reflect the brand’s voice and tone.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh, engaging content ideas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation and management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide content teams and oversee copy development.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), including Sitecore and WordPress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of data analytics and how it applies to content performance and strategy.
