In our 3rd year of operations, Wine for That’s unique, clever wine gifts are making a name and connecting folks all around the country. Our quarterly wine club is also finding success and is poised to scale.
We're looking for a creative, enthusiastic and driven individual with a budding passion for wine to join us. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing and/or graphic design (school or past professional experience) as well as proficiency in social media (Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest).
Candidates will be involved in:
- marketing and social media: developing content calendars, posts/reel creation
- design of graphics for website promotions and wine club inserts
- collaboration on new gifting occasions, wine club themes
- business planning and development to shape the strategic growth of Wine for That
- occasional order fulfillment in high volume times
Requirements:
- Evidence of wine education (some NW Wine Academy, CMS, WSET, CSW studies or 1 year of professional wine-related experience)
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud Products (Adobe In-Design/ Photoshop Proficiency is a strong bonus)
- Desire to learn more about wine and the wine industry
- A commitment to prompt and clear communications and follow-through
- Ability to lift and carry 40lbs short distances
Compensation and Perks:
- Weekly hours will vary and range from 10-20 hours/week
- Pay $22/hour
- Invitations to attend trade events as a member of Wine for That
- Opportunities to meet key industry leaders in the distribution, winemaking and retail space
- Hands on experience in wine tasting for procurement
- Optional coaching for advanced wine certifications
The position is primarily off-site with weekly meetings conducted over Zoom. Occasional in person meetings/fulfillment or activities will be scheduled in Seattle and the surrounding areas (dependent on current regional COVID guidelines).
