Job Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support our software development and deployment processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, while driving cloud migration and modernization efforts. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure using AWS EKS and Kubernetes.
2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
3. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
4. Drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring best practices and security standards are followed.
5. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
6. Participate in pair programming sessions to mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on development.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.
9. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
10. Prepare and present reports on infrastructure performance, key metrics, and project progress to senior management.

Required Skills

1. Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
2. Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
3. Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
4. Proven experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and cross-functional teams.
6. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
7. Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices and methodologies.
4. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps (preferred).
9. Experience in working with customers in a B2B environment (preferred)
