Your Role

One of our leading healthcare clients is working on building a secure, scalable Cloud based solution to support critical business processes by establishing best practices and standards as they rapidly transform themselves to be a digital first company. The Senior Application Developer will report to the Sr Manager, IT Health Solutions IT Portfolio. As a Senior Application Developer, you will play a critical role in assessing our current Solutions and driving the transformation efforts related to the team. This would include building/modifying processes in the cloud, primarily on Microsoft Azure. This individual will serve as the developer responsible for assuring solutions built within their scope are highly secure, performant, and robust. This includes providing solutions that are optimized for cost, quality, security, and fit for purpose.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

1. Contribute to the Solution Design and implementation of secure, scalable, and automated cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure within various platforms to support application deployment and management.
2. Experienced with relevant software development tools, industry protocols, troubleshooting & support procedures, monitoring & quality controls, and communication/documentation software.
3. Self-directed, works with limited management direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
4. Applies significant knowledge of IT and healthcare industry trends.

Your Knowledge and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of IT solution delivery experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Highly proficient technical acumen & deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration

Primary Expertise:

1. Ability to work with Business Stakeholders using excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
2. Experience in an Agile Methodology environment with ability to mentor development team members.
3. Independent and highly competent in developing custom business solutions and applications using:
4. Integration using APIs
5. Ansible or other automation tools
6. SQL Server 2016+
7. Windows/Linux OS Administration Exposure
8. Experience with Azure DevOps – including CI/CD Pipelines
9. Experience designing applications for the Cloud – primarily Azure

Valuable Experience:

1. Azure cloud administration, configuration, development, architecture
2. SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
3. Integration with SharePoint
4. Git (Bitbucket), Jira, Jenkins, Service Marketplace, Tidal, Informatica, Unix, other scripting
5. Mulesoft / BOOMI integrations
6. JavaScript or PowerShell
7. Demonstrated ability to formulate strategies, communicate and build alignment on concepts from ideation to execution.
8. Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to assess potential opportunities, risks, and issues, and make recommendations to resolve or course-correct as necessary.
10. Ability to effectively manage meetings and work regularly with a variety of stakeholders.
11. Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create, translate, and execute technical deliverables.
12. Proven experience educating and influencing others and collaborating across all functions and levels in a highly matrixed organization.
13. Healthcare experience in Utilization and Care Management (Facets, FHIR).
14. Experience collaborating with external vendors and distributed on/offshore teams.
