Position: Software Engineer IV

Location: Remote (Prefers West Coast and open for East Coast)

Duration: 09 Months (potential for extension based on project)

Pay Range: $82/hr on W2 with Benefits

Job Description:

We're looking for a solid engineer who's passionate for data platform data infrastructure, providing a seamless end to end experience to all **** teams.

1. Develop and implement changes in the Data swarm system for data Infra in ****.
2. Build and test the Data swarm and Batch Control Plane system as required by ****.
3. Build and test the Data swarm and Batch Control Plane system supporting UI as required by ****.
4. Work towards project deliverables and goals for the Dats swarm and Batch Control projects according to the **** project plan.
5. Periodic review with **** engineering managers for the Data swarm and Batch Control Plane system to get feedback on the progress one **** milestones.
6. Additional support as needed for the Data swarm and Batch Control Plane system projects, as defined as by the **** team

Activity Planning and Execution Approach:

a. Work closely with ****'s project managers for detailing the activities, tasks, dependencies and Deliverables planning.

Minimum qualifications

1. 6 years of programming experience in a relevant programming language
2. 6 years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience
3. Expert with Python and Thrift, bonus on Rust
4. Experience designing, analysing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
5. Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability
6. Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes
7. Experience with intra- and inter-team collaboration
8. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Must-Have Skills

1. Expert with Python and Thrift, bonus on Rust
2. Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience
3. Experience designing, analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
