Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company in their search for a Publishing Specialist. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA. (Needs to work onsite 2-3 days a week when the team is working onsite)

 

This is the revised GPA role previously used. It is part of the production-based processes of the Books team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Needs proficiency in PPT.
  • Updates data, formatting, layout, design, and content for print, PDF, and presentation materials based on established templates in PowerPoint using the Seismic platform.
  • Updates and creates charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits to be used in communications materials, websites, and/or presentations.
  • May prepare presentation and notes files for use in meetings and webcasts.
  • Customizes materials based on client needs while still applying brand, style, and data presentation guidelines.
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (advanced), and Microsoft Excel (intermediate; charting skills critical).
  • Demonstrates strong detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a keen ability to problem solve and manage ambiguity.
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, an eye for detail, and the ability to spot trends and variances in data; able to work with large volumes of data from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate with diverse working styles and with team members across business units; an initiative to work and learn independently; proactively contribute to department goals, and ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn new applications, as needed.
  • Ideally has familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry, including key data elements. Working in another highly regulated industry (pharma, legal) is a plus.
  • Ideally at least 1-3 yrs. experience working in a creative corporate environment.
