Hagerman & Company is seeking a highly skilled writer and detail-oriented marketer to join our team as a Marketing Specialist – Content & Events. This hybrid role blends compelling content development with in-person event coordination, supporting the marketing of our solutions as a leading Autodesk partner. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can translate technical information into clear, engaging content—and is equally comfortable managing the details of a tradeshow or customer event.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Content Creation & Messaging
- Write and edit a range of marketing content including blog posts, customer success stories, email campaigns, landing pages, sales enablement materials, and promotional assets.
- Translate complex technical topics related to Autodesk software and engineering workflows into clear, benefit-driven content for a B2B audience.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, sales engineers, and partner teams to gather insights and shape content that highlights the value of Hagerman’s software + services solutions.
- Ensure all content aligns with campaign strategy, SEO best practices, and brand voice.
- Assist with content publishing in HubSpot and website CMS in coordination with the Digital team.
In-Person Event Planning & Execution
- Coordinate all logistics for industry trade shows, partner events, and company-hosted events, including timelines, materials, venue details, booth coordination, and team communication.
- Collaborate with the Campaigns and SDR team to support pre-event promotion and post-event lead follow-up.
- Manage event collateral needs in coordination with design and creative resources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Demand Generation, Digital Experience, and Sales teams to support marketing campaigns through relevant content and event strategies.
- Contribute to campaign development by creating content tied to business goals, customer needs, and technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing, content creation, or communications, ideally in the software, engineering, or manufacturing industries
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with an ability to distill technical subject matter into clear, engaging marketing copy
- Experience writing content related to Autodesk software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vault, Revit, Inventor) or similar technical platforms is a plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot, SEO, CMS tools, and marketing automation platforms is a plus
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
