Job Description:

The Marketing Communications Specialist is an integral part of CentraState Healthcare System’s marketing team, contributing their creativity and expertise to all marketing initiatives with a specialization in developing and implementing email and CRM strategies. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative and creative team that drives engagement with CentraState’s services, programs, physicians and events to help grow CentraState’s volume and reputation in line with our mission to bring quality healthcare to our community.

Responsibilities:
Email/CRM

End-to-end setup and execution of email campaigns, including copy writing, asset development, audience segmentation, and email design, for automated patient journeys and monthly enewsletters to consumers and medical staff.
Works in collaboration with agencies and internal partners to maintain the quality of the database, CRM lead tracking application and reporting dashboard
Evaluates current and emerging digital technologies and provides recommendations, when appropriate.

Marketing Campaign Development

Participates in planning discussions and strategy sessions with department leaders and physicians to develop and implement marketing activities related to key service lines, programs and events.
Planning and execution of search engine marketing (SEM), and programmatic display advertising campaigns for key service lines.
Development of content and assets across channels, including video production and editing/writing copy, for website, blog, email, direct mail, video voiceover, brochures and flyers.
Provides direction to freelance writers, designers, photographers and videographers in the development of marketing campaigns and other assets to ensure that creative is in line with the CentraState voice, style, and look.
Participates in planning and creative brainstorming sessions with team members, agency, writers and designers.
Ensures project timelines and campaign objectives are met.
Upholds brand guidelines and graphic standards for all online and print materials to ensure a cohesive look and feel of CentraState programs and initiatives.

Campaign/Market Research

Plays an integral role in the development of quantitative and qualitative research of campaign creative.
Uses market research dashboard to inform service line marketing strategies and campaign development and reports on progress of system image and awareness campaigns.

Project Management/Reporting/Brand

Monitors campaign performance by determining, collecting and reporting on marketing and business Key Performance Indicators by campaign and recommends campaign optimizations as needed.
In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, manages and tracks assigned budget and invoices for campaign development, functional areas of responsibility and service lines.
Maintain awareness of trends and new developments that affect healthcare and hospital services and mission

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
Minimum 5 years in a marketing or advertising role.
Experience managing email marketing campaigns and database. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
Highly creative with strong copy writing/editing skills and design vision.
Ability to manage marketing projects end–to-end.
Healthcare experience a plus, but not required.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
