Job Description:

We are seeking a Market Development Representative in Chicago and sounding areas to help us achieve volume and distribution goals for our portfolio of brands. This role will focus on building brands, maximizing distribution, and acting as the main point of contact for both on and off premise accounts in the assigned territory.   • Develop and implement solutions to grow business for assigned accounts and drive market share growth for Mitra9 brands.
  • Utilize consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve problems, and maximize sales.
  • Lead in-store selling, merchandising, marketing, and execution for accounts.
  • Achieve volume objectives for priority brands in the portfolio.
  • Plan and execute programs to deliver distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional objectives.
  • Build mutually valuable relationships with assigned customers by understanding their key needs and requirements.
  • Act as the main communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with key customers.
  • Support Market Development Manager with brand building, programming, and distribution activities with customers.


  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, sales internship, or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods/beverage).
  • 2 years’ experience in market development and sales analysis preferred, but not required.
  • Strong ability and passion for building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Passion for building brands, boots-on-the-ground sales and growing a market.
  • Willingness to work when needed, ensuring all customers are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to self-manage/manage a schedule to achieve results.
  • Must have a vehicle, and be willing to travel.
