Summary

Anderson Landscape is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our growing team . The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience (preferably in the Architecture/Exterior Design and landscape industry) and thrives in both independent and collaborative environments. We are looking for someone who is not only creative and energetic with a strong eye for design but also skilled in identifying new business opportunities and building meaningful relationships to help us grow. Your day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Work with Owner and CEO to generate and maintain marketing collateral, assist with RFPs, create presentation decks, conduct market research to identify new pursuits
2. Assist in developing strategies for business development and marketing
3. Manage marketing resources and efforts to support our strategic positioning
4. Spearhead and manage industry award submissions
5. Manage online marketing (create content and design for email marketing, social media, manage company website, etc.) that promotes Anderson's brand
6. Gather, format, and maintain accurate, up-to-date marketing information including staff bios, project descriptions and statistics, research briefs, and other information for marketing purposes
7. Help coordinate, and prepare for local and national events and conferences
8. Help manage and coordinate internal team building events
9. Manage completed project photography needs, including scheduling with photographers, overseeing photoshoots, and creative direction
10. Help implement and maintain system for client/contacts database

Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
2. At least 5-7 years of marketing experience (preferably in the Exterior Design/Architecture and Landscaping industry)
3. Strong written and oral communication skills
4. Strong relationship-building skills
5. Excellent follow-up and execution skills
6. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
7. Proactive, self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team
8. A sophisticated design sense with strong graphic abilities
9. Strong customer service skills
10. Good problem-solving skills
11. Solid organizational and analytical skills
12. Transportation (ability to travel to job sites, photoshoots, industry conferences, etc.)
13. Understanding of digital communications tools and trends
14. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress/Webflow (or similar web management platform), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Social Media, Constant Contact (or similar email marketing platform)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
