The PES Digital Marketing Associate develops, supports and optimizes our organization's marketing programs. Duties for the digital marketing associate will include tracking campaign progress, developing various digital marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content, updating online assets, streamlining digital marketing production, and handling general digital marketing activities. Your creative thinking skills and strategies will be an essential part in driving our digital narrative, enhancing our organization's image, improving digital communication with clients, and encouraging business growth through effective campaigns.
Digital Marketing Associate Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop content strategy for all social media and email marketing channels that adheres to the PES Benefits brand standard
- Writes, edits and maintains content that attracts attention, generates interest and is easily shared on digital channels (content channels may include: social media, website, mobile app, newsletter, brand messaging and marketing collateral, with a heavy emphasis on social media and email marketing)
- Designs digital assets for use in social media campaigns, email marketing, brand-side marketing and client-side marketing projects utilizing Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
- Supporting and developing marketing initiatives.
- Research market trends and stay current on all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness and understanding
- Coordinating marketing events such as mailer campaigns.
- Developing and sourcing content for digital platforms.
- Manage company websites: optimize SEO, manage sites, write, manage and edit content
Digital Marketing Associate Requirements:
- Degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent. (required)
- Active on social media (especially LinkedIn) with knowledge of social media and content marketing best practices
- Outstanding writing, brand messaging and consumer engagement
- Highly organized.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Project management experience
- Detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, and other job-related programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Prior experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts
- Spanish fluency
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate ideas to creative agencies and marketing teams
- Highly creative, motivated, resourceful, and self-directed with the ability to deliver under pressure
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Ortto, AutoPilot, MailChimp, SendGrid, etc.)
- Passion for creating compelling and engaging content
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Social media metrics and analytics experience
- Experience with WordPress and web design
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
- Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
