We are seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and lead the development and security efforts in our client's newly established environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, with a passion for implementing and optimizing secure and efficient development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Cucumber.
2. Design and deploy robust solutions in AWS cloud environment, ensuring scalability and security.
3. Lead collaboration efforts between development, operations, and security teams to seamlessly integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle.
4. Establish and enforce best practices for version control workflows within GitHub.
5. Develop and implement strategies for automating testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
6. Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and implement advanced security measures to mitigate risks.
7. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex infrastructure and application performance issues to maintain system reliability.
8. Stay at the forefront of DevSecOps trends, tools, and methodologies, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps practices, including secure software development and delivery.
2. Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
3. Advanced expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as GitHub.
4. Proven experience with test automation frameworks, especially Cucumber.
5. Strong knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes).
6. In-depth understanding of security tools and practices, including vulnerability scanning and threat modeling.
7. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications in DevOps, AWS, or security (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or CISSP).
2. Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
3. Proven track record of successfully implementing DevSecOps practices in Agile development environments.
4. Experience mentoring and leading DevSecOps teams.

Education and Clearance:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience
2. Must be US Citizen and clearable; Secret clearance (or higher) a plus.
