Currently, ManTech is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and support mission-critical defense IT systems. This is a remote position.

Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into innovative solutions, leveraging modern cloud technologies and automation tools. You will contribute to an infrastructure-as-code environment, participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, and support the development and deployment of scalable systems. This position is key to driving continual improvements in our technology stack and refining deployment methodologies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Translate customer requirements and future goals into scalable, mission-critical solutions
2. Automate server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, and monitoring processes using infrastructure-as-code environments
3. Work with container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions to enhance system performance
4. Actively contribute to the improvement of the technology stack and refine deployment methodologies
5. Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes
6. Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows
7. Collaborate with teams to implement automated cloud infrastructure management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
8. Ensure smooth integration of systems and participate in API management/creation exposure

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. 3+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code environments
3. 3+ years of experience automating cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
4. 3+ years of experience with GitHub and command-line Git for version control
5. 3+ years of experience automating OS-level functions using Shell, BASH, and/or PowerShell
6. 3+ years of experience administering LDAP and/or Active Directory permissions
7. 2+ years of experience with Python programming for scripting and automation
8. 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment
9. Must possess an active Security+ certification
10. Must have AWS or Azure Certifications at the associate level (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Azure Fundamentals).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
2. Proven track record in enhancing cloud infrastructure deployment pipelines
3. Strong initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
4. Experience with automated testing and monitoring processes
5. Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) OS
6. Experience with API management and creating exposure for APIs
7. Familiarity with Agile engineering practices and methodologies
8. Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative team environment

Clearance Requirements:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
2. Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources.
3. Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computers, printers, etc.
