Job Description:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing the organization’s content strategy by creating, editing, and optimizing marketing content across various channels. This role involves producing original content, coordinating with external writing agencies to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables, and maintaining brand consistency. The specialist will also support SEO initiatives, develop copy for paid advertising campaigns, contribute to email marketing efforts, and assist with translations from English to Canadian French (Quebec French).

Skill / Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or copywriting.
  3. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an emphasis on clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
  4. Strong knowledge of SEO principles and experience with web content optimization.
  5. Familiarity with AI/LLM tools for content generation and optimization (preferred).
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Fluency in Canadian French (Quebec French) is strongly preferred for translation duties.
  8. Experience in writing ad copy for paid social/search and email campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Write and edit marketing content, including blog posts, landing pages, and other digital assets.
  2. Collaborate with external writing agencies to ensure the timely and quality delivery of content.
  3. Update and optimize website copy for SEO and user experience, in collaboration with the SEO team.
  4. Leverage AI/LLM tools to refresh content, integrate keywords, and optimize copy.
  5. Write compelling ad copy for paid social media and search campaigns.
  6. Support email marketing campaigns with engaging, brand-consistent copy.
  7. Translate or review the translation of marketing content from English to Canadian French (Quebec French), ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
