• Pay Range: $135,000 – $175,000 USD annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Art Director is responsible for overseeing the visual aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality creative output, and maintaining a cohesive artistic direction.

MAIN DUTIES:

The Art Director will be responsible for duties related to conceptualizing and planning, team leadership, project management, collaboration, visual design, and quality control. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conceptualizing and Planning: Developing design concepts, strategies, and visual styles for projects, considering client needs and target audiences.
• Team Leadership: Directing and managing a team of designers, guiding their creative processes, and providing constructive feedback to achieve project goals.
• Project Management: Organizing and coordinating design projects, setting timelines, and ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Collaboration: Working closely with clients, designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure cohesive execution.
• Visual Design: Contributing to or overseeing the creation of visual elements such as graphics, layouts, and artwork, ensuring they align with the established vision and brand guidelines.
• Quality Control: Reviewing and approving final designs, ensuring they meet high standards of creativity, innovation, and functionality.

The Art director should possess strong leadership qualities, a keen eye for design aesthetics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Adaptability: Keeping up with industry trends, technologies, and design techniques to maintain a cutting-edge approach in the company's work.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicating ideas, concepts, and design rationale to team members and clients.

Company 3 / Method Studios provides a full range of Creative Services for content creators, including conceptual design, pre-vis, look development, ideation and rapid prototyping, 3D animation/CGI, motion graphics/designers, matte painting, compositing, dailies and production services, color grading, post-production finishing, marketing/trailers, live-action production, experiences, and more.

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off. The benefits for eligible project hires and part-time employees working less than 25 hours per week in the US include retirement, select insurance benefits, and where required by law, health benefits. For roles filled in Canada and other territories, local benefits plan offerings will apply.
