Job Description:
Minimum Requirements: Respondents must be a New York City certified M/WBEs.
- 5+ years’ experience in a copywriting or related role using plain language to describe
products and services and to provide information for a digital, customer-facing platform.
(excluding social media content).
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation which adheres to human-centered
design principles.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to evaluate lengthy and complicated content in order to synthesize clear, concise
content in plain language for a wide audience, including people whose primary language
is not English and people with disabilities.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) expertise.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to drive document review processes from submission to approval.
- Digital literacy to use tools to create and communicate content across teams.
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects
efficiently.
- Extensive experience with user-centered content writing and techniques.
- Familiarity with documenting process flows and analyzing process improvements.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders to suggest and communicate content needs
requirements and build consensus.

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
