Overview:

We’re a fast-scaling home service business growing through rapid acquisitions.

We’re building a best-in-class marketing engine and need a hands-on Web Manager to lead all things WordPress, from migrations to CRO. You'll be our Web Manager, owning all website development, migrations, and optimization across our growing portfolio. You're not a pixel-pusher waiting for designs; you're a technical developer who understands conversion psychology, can create beautiful landing pages, and knows how to make websites that actually generate leads.

You'll migrate 1–2 websites per month as we acquire new businesses, build landing pages for campaigns, optimize for conversions, and maintain our WordPress/Bricks Builder infrastructure. You work closely with our SEO Manager to ensure sites are technically sound and our Marketing Technologist to ensure proper tracking and analytics. This is a hands-on builder role. You write code, you build pages, you optimize performance. You're comfortable diving into JavaScript when needed, and you can create landing pages that convert without waiting for a designer to hand you mockups.


What You'll Do:


Website Migrations

  1. Migrate 1–2 acquired business websites per month to WordPress/Bricks Builder
  2. Audit existing sites, plan structure, implement 301 redirects
  3. Migrate sites to our existing infrastructure and design
  4. Work with offshore team to delegate repetitive tasks

Landing Page Development

  1. Design and build high-converting landing pages
  2. Create pages for paid campaigns, local markets, and services
  3. Build reusable templates for quick deployment
  4. Apply CRO principles: clear headlines, trust signals, strong CTAs, minimal friction
  5. Collaborate with Paid Media Manager on campaign landing pages

Conversion Rate Optimization

  1. Analyze user behavior (heatmaps, session recordings, funnels)
  2. Implement A/B test variations with Marketing Technologist
  3. Optimize forms, page speed, and mobile experience
  4. Add trust elements strategically

Website Maintenance

  1. Update WordPress and plugins
  2. Monitor security, performance, and uptime
  3. Fix bugs and broken functionality
  4. Optimize site speed and Core Web Vitals

Custom Development

  1. Write JavaScript for custom interactions and functionality
  2. Integrate third-party tools
  3. Build advanced features when needed
  4. Maintain and add to our custom WordPress plugins


Required Skills:

  1. 5+ years WordPress development — deep knowledge of WordPress architecture, database, themes, and plugins
  2. Strong JavaScript — vanilla JS, DOM manipulation, debugging, and library integration
  3. CSS expertise — responsive design, CSS Grid/Flexbox, animations
  4. CRO knowledge — understand what makes landing pages convert
  5. Design sensibility — create aesthetically pleasing layouts without designer handoffs
  6. Technical SEO awareness — proper page structure, meta tags, redirects, site speed
