About the Role

As part of our technology team, you will provide web content management support for three federally maintained and/or managed websites. You will collaborate closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to ensure accurate, accessible, and timely digital content delivery. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting public-facing digital communications in Federal environments.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

Content Management

  1. Load, format, publish, and update content across multiple Federal websites.
  2. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, review, and publish content according to approved workflows and timelines.
  3. Ensure compliance with approved templates, branding standards, plain language guidelines, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  4. Conduct content audits to identify outdated or duplicate materials and recommend updates or removals.
  5. Support updates related to policy changes, public communications, or program initiatives.
  6. Perform quality assurance checks including link validation, formatting accuracy, and accessibility reviews.
  7. Maintain documentation such as publishing logs, approval records, and content inventories.

Community Management

  1. Monitor website feedback, comments, and form submissions.
  2. Route inquiries and submissions to appropriate stakeholders.
  3. Track engagement trends and identify frequently asked questions or content gaps.
  4. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  1. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, User Experience, Marketing, or a related field.
  3. 3+ years of experience in content strategy, content management, or related roles with a strong user-centered design focus.
  4. Proven experience with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility compliance for web content.
  5. Proficiency in content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress, or SharePoint.
  6. Knowledge of web design principles, including SEO, HTML, and information architecture.
  7. Strong writing and editing skills with experience applying plain language principles.
  8. Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience supporting HHS or CMS.
  2. Background in healthcare content development and management.

  1. Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  2. Ability to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
