ECOM CPA is seeking a talented Virtual Controller to join our fast-growing, remote team!

What You’ll Do

• Be the go-to quarterback for all client related work across the firm for both the client as well as internal SME’s and departments
• Coordinate with Tax & Accounting on key deliverables, timelines, and milestones for all client related work
• Conduct client financial reviews, tax return, and tax planning meetings in coordination with internal department SME’s
• Resolving issues & questions for clients, whether independently or through collaboration with internal SME’s
• Tailor financial recommendations and process improvements in alignment with client priorities
• Developing and maintaining client budgets & cash flow forecasts
• Identify and communicate upsell opportunities
• Building rapport and maintaining well-rounded relationships with clients
• Consultations with other clients as needed and assigned

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• Licensed CPA (Preferred)
• Strong Accounting & Tax knowledge including translating financial results into actionable insights
• High-level communication skills
• Ability to be detail oriented as well as big-picture focused
• Customer service mindset with great people skills
• Growth mindset and ability to accept constructive criticism
• Interest and ability to expand financial knowledge
• Experience with ecommerce is a plus
