Amplify has provided core curriculum, intervention resources, digital assessments, and high-impact coaching and professional development to support data-driven instruction among K-12 educators for nearly two decades.
Among its services, Amplify works in close partnership with state and district partners to offer direct small group reading tutoring or provide ongoing professional development and support to district-managed Tutors. Students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade meet virtually with a Reading Tutor throughout the school year to build early literacy skills and close the achievement gap. All Tutors are trained in Amplify’s small group tutoring intervention program and assessment, and the Coach oversees design and implementation of all ongoing training and supports and directly supports tutors with on demand needs.

Position Summary
The Tutor Coach plays a critical role in virtually supporting a cohort of Reading Tutors based in Chicago. Tutors directly support small groups of K-5 students. Amplify provides initial and ongoing professional development and support to all district-managed Tutors. The primary responsibilities of the Coach will be to oversee planning and design of all professional development sessions, and provide on demand supports to all tutors in the areas of assessing students, accessing a given lesson plan, planning for tutoring sessions, and implementing the lessons. The Tutor Coach will provide feedback to ongoing group trainings and create systems for ongoing support sessions for Tutors as well as on demand support for individuals.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, results-driven education leader who uses data to make decisions and ensures outstanding support to Reading Tutors. He or she will combine a capacity for deep instructional knowledge in the Science of Reading and strong relationship building skills to coach and develop Reading Tutors.

Compensation
The annualized gross salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000.
