Job Description:
  • We are seeking a talented Accounting Associate I to perform a variety of clerical accounting tasks in support of the STIIIZY Accounting Department. While the primary focus of this role is Accounting Associate I, the successful candidate may also cross-train in other positions within the department based on organizational needs.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compiles and sorts of invoices and checks.
  • Handles accounts payable duties.
  • Records business transactions.
  • Keys daily worksheets into the general ledger system.
  • Records charges and refunds.
  • Utilizes computer systems to run databases, pay bills and order supplies as needed.
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor, including leading projects.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Working experience and/or knowledge within the field; not required, but preferred.
  • Typically requires a high school diploma.
  • Experience with Indica Online preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday.
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Ability to get in and out of vehicle and walk up and down stairs during your shift.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
