Position Summary



ARCOS is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sr. Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers, partnering closely with our Sales team to demonstrate the power and flexibility of ARCOS solutions. You’ll help bridge business needs with our platform capabilities, lead impactful product demos, and ensure technical alignment throughout the sales cycle. If you’re energized by solving complex challenges, influencing buying decisions, and enabling mission-critical technology adoption, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as a product and technical expert during the pre-sales process, working in close collaboration with Account Executives to execute the ARCOS sales process.
  2. Lead and tailor software demonstrations and technical presentations that highlight how ARCOS solutions address customer pain points and improve operations.
  3. Understand and present ARCOS’ technical architecture, deployment models, and integration capabilities as they relate to customer environments.
  4. Participate in discovery calls to uncover operational needs, gather requirements, and shape demo narratives that resonate with stakeholders across functions.
  5. Support the RFI/RFP process by creating value-driven responses in collaboration with Sales, Implementation, and Technical teams.
  6. Contribute to proposal development by providing technical insight and articulating the ROI and business impact of ARCOS solutions.
  7. Set clear and realistic technical expectations with prospects to support a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
  8. Stay informed on competitive offerings, evolving customer needs, and industry trends to help refine messaging and handle technical objections.
  9. Maintain and enhance demo environments, ensuring they reflect the latest platform functionality and integrations.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to solution design and continuous improvement of our technical sales approach.
  11. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and strategic partners.
  12. Accurately complete required pre-sales documentation and maintain detailed records in support of the sales cycle.
  13. Other responsibilities as needed to support Sales and Go-to-Market initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or a related technical SaaS role
  2. Strong understanding of B2B SaaS platforms, ideally in work management, field workforce, HRMS, or ERP environments
  3. Experience leading software demonstrations and translating business needs into technical solutions
  4. Familiarity with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases; understanding of integration tools and API frameworks preferred
  5. Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, Java/JavaScript, J2EE, or web services is a plus
  6. Ability to confidently engage technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholders
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and storytelling abilities
  8. Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset
  9. Travel up to 50%, including international travel; valid passport and driver’s license required
