Shine2Inspire exists to create experience and exposure to build wealth through business ownership. The philanthropic organization focuses on financial and technological know-how. Shine2Inspire serves middle, high, and college-level students at minority-serving institutions while also catering to young adults pursuing a vocation or trade.
In two years, the company has developed impactful relationships with Reuters, Gatorade and WellsFargo to amplify its impact. Given some of the key programs, there is a need for a hands-on social media and relationship manager who understands the audience and knows how to engage to create an online community.
The ideal social media relationship manager thinks like a business marketing professional. S/he understands the brand value of Shine2Inspire and works in partnership with the founders, brand operations, and public relations experts to communicate the company and its affiliate’s (e.g., Shine Enthusiast) brand story consistently and compellingly across various social media platforms. The primary social media platforms are Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. S/he stays on top of emerging technologies, applications and platforms, e.g., Spill, to ensure the brand reaches its intended audience(s).
PLAN
· Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
· Designs and implements a social media strategy to align with business goals
· Sets specific objectives and reports on return on investment
· Lives by a planning calendar to ensure content is relevant and timely
· Monitors search engine optimization and web traffic metrics
ANALYZE
· Uses dedicated analytics tools to gather data on key metrics like reach, engagement (likes, shares, comments), clicks, conversions, and audience demographics to determine how well content performs
· Identifies trends and makes data-driven decisions to optimize future content strategies and better target their audience
· Collaborates with other teams to ensure brand consistency
· Communicates with followers, responds to queries in a timely manner, and monitors feedback and comments (should engage at minimum twice daily)
· Oversees social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
· Suggests and implements new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competition
· Seeks new followers, relationships to drive engagement and creates a community
· Generates, edits, publishes, and shares engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news)
