This role is designed for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and hands-on execution. You will take full ownership of organic social media across multiple platforms, shaping brand storytelling while driving engagement, community growth, and performance.
You will partner closely with marketing and creative leadership to define high-level direction, then lead day-to-day content strategy, creation, publishing, and optimization. This position offers significant autonomy and is ideal for someone ready to grow into a director-level role.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Lead strategy and performance across Facebook, Facebook Groups, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Grow engaged, loyal communities aligned with brand values.
- Identify platform-specific opportunities and respond quickly to algorithm changes and cultural trends.
Content Creation & Publishing
- Own the social content calendar end-to-end, from ideation and planning to creation, scheduling, and publishing.
- Create platform-native content optimized for each channel.
- Write warm, human, and engaging copy for captions, Stories, and video scripts.
- Produce quick-turn video content using mobile editing tools.
- Create simple visual assets using tools such as Canva when needed.
- Define and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social channels.
Community Engagement
- Build authentic relationships through thoughtful community management and responses.
- Encourage meaningful conversations that strengthen loyalty.
- Monitor audience sentiment and surface insights to inform content strategy.
Analytics & Optimization
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Identify trends, test new formats, and optimize content based on performance data.
- Run regular performance check-ins and adjust strategy in real time.
Collaboration & Growth
- Collaborate with paid media partners on boosted content and creative recommendations.
- Work with internal teams and external contributors to develop high-quality content.
- Coordinate social coverage for launches, events, and key brand moments, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- As the function grows, lead influencer strategy and campaign execution.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience managing social media for consumer-facing or lifestyle brands.
- Proven success growing social channels with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices.
- Hands-on experience creating video content using mobile tools.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a clear, human, and engaging tone.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
- Creative, experimental mindset with comfort testing new formats.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action.
- Collaborative and adaptable approach to cross-functional work.
