Position Summary

We’re seeking a talented Copywriter and dynamic Social Media & Community Manager to lead community engagement and social storytelling up to three of Clorox Brands, including Glad, Fresh Step, and Kingsford. This role is perfect for a strategic communicator who can seamlessly blend brand voice with community interactions, manage influencer relationships, and drive meaningful engagement across diverse platforms.

As the frontline voice of our brands, you will engage with our audience on social media, celebrate brand love, and foster authentic connections. You’ll be at the heart of our community, bringing our brand stories to life and ensuring that our messaging resonates with our consumers.

This hands-on, cross-functional role demands both creativity and precision. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to create a social presence that is consistent, compelling, and driven by community insights.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Response

  1. Own day-to-day community management across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  2. Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a tone that reflects each brand’s personality and values.
  3. Handle both brand-forward engagement and community affairs responses (e.g., product feedback, customer concerns).
  4. Monitor sentiment and flag emerging issues or opportunities for deeper engagement, response content.


Influencer & Brand Partnerships

  1. Identify and build relationships with influencers and creators aligned with brand values.
  2. Manage outreach, product shipments, and content deliverables.
  3. Support surprise-and-delight moments with fans and creators through gifting and sampling.
  4. Collaborate with like-minded brands for co-branded content, giveaways, and activations.


Content Strategy & Execution

  1. Pitch and execute creative ideas for seasonal campaigns, cultural moments, and brand storytelling.
  2. Write and publish daily content that’s clear, compelling, and culturally relevant.
  3. Support organic social calendar planning, including caption writing and asset coordination.
  4. Manage and organize content libraries for easy access and reuse.


Social Listening & Insights

  1. Stay on top of platform trends, audience behaviors, and emerging tools.
  2. Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and content performance.
  3. Track KPIs and report on community growth, sentiment, and campaign impact.


Qualifications

  1. 2-3 years of experience in social media and community management, ideally across multiple brands.
  2. Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills; familiarity with Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
  3. Experience managing influencer relationships and social campaigns.
  4. Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram best practices.
  5. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  7. Creator mindset: understands the creator journey and can build authentic relationships.

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $50-55 per hour.
