Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to work directly with our Director of SEO. This person will be responsible for working with our clients to improve their organic search results, manage SEO campaigns, identify areas of opportunity, and attempt to improve the clients’ sites’ rankings in major search engines. The analyst will generate and send reporting for all clients, assist in new client onboarding, analyze and set up proper website SEO for site builds and existing websites, and other tasks as needed by the SEO Manager.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong SEO fundamentals and a demonstrated record of SEO success. This position is for someone who can wear many hats, is passionate about all things related to content marketing and SEO, and cares for their team and our clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify growth opportunities within their existing accounts and gain client trust by delivering great work day in and day out.

Responsibilities:

- Generating and sending monthly reporting to clients

- Performing SEO analyses on client websites

- Creating on-site optimization recommendations for client websites

- Performing keyword research

- Implementing off-page SEO content strategies in regard to link-building and social

- Utilize SEO tools to generate reports and fix issues

- Utilize basic programming and web design skills to enhance SEO

- Create advanced SEO strategies

- Author and present client recommendations

- Work with development team to ensure client sites are optimized

- SEO updates in various CMS platforms

This position is based in our Stamford, CT offices 2 days per week.

Requirements:

- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required, graduate degree a plus

- 3+ years of experience in organic search engine marketing, agency or client-side experience

- Strong data analysis and digital strategy background

- Ability to think strategically, be self-directed, and drive solid results to grow the business

- Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork

- Ability to be client-facing

- A solid understanding of HTML, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console

- Google Analytics certification

- Exceptional oral, written, presentation, and communication skills (samples will be requested)

- Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to work as a member of a team

- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Standard SEO Tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
