We do this through Renewable Energy Advisory and Digital Services, Environmental, Health and Safety Software & Learning programs, best in class Sustainability and ESG reporting software with UL 360, advisory services, subject matter experts and Healthy Buildings testing and verification.

This role is 100% remote

 

The Senior Sales Executive drives the sale of Cimteq, a software focused on design support, workflow and production management applications for the wire and cable industry. Will also independently service new logos in collaboration with account owners.

 

  • Supports development of leadership’s multi-year account plans in Software by providing insight on the Wire and Cable Manufacturing industry
  • Contributes to the development of strategy by providing input on customer needs, pain points, trends, etc. to product / service manager
  • Maintains ongoing plan to prioritize portfolio of accounts and maintain relationships throughout the year, identifying opportunities for software renewal
  • Uses technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence, in support of sales leaders serving Global accounts
  • Performs product demos and shares insights to customers on how to integrate software into an existing IT environment
  • Specific to the customer’s current technology platforms and systems, communicates value proposition based on highly technical knowledge
  • Serves as main point of client contact throughout sales cycle
  • Maintains ongoing relationships after initial sale has closed in order to effectively convert software renewals
  • Works with minimal supervision on proposals and closings as directed by sales leaders
  • Proactively seeks and actions on opportunities to sell specialty software
  • Works on discovery and opportunity identification
  • Works closely with account managers to seamlessly work with customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborates with Solution Architects in gathering customer requirements
  • Responsible for articulating value proposition and managing client interactions
  • Brings in additional technical resources (e.g., Solution Architects) when needed to support sales opportunities
  • Provides input to account owner during account planning process on potential growth opportunities
  • Makes connections and builds trusted advisor status with relevant account owners
  • Supports smooth hand-off of customer to implementation team or customer success team

What makes you a great fit:

 

  • Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in software engineering or related field
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes, ideally with a consultative sales background
  • Ideally deep knowledge and experience with cable and wire industry
  • Ability to demonstrate software products or to quickly learn this skill
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software

Total Rewards: The target annual pay range for this position is $136,000K - $183,000 which includes a base salary of $78,000 - 105,000K and 100% on target performance.

 

Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 75% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.

 

We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
