Job Description
We are looking for a senior mobile engineer to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. To be successful in this role, you must be able to drive the software change and release management processes, assisting in the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle.

Deliver technically complex solutions. Perform system integration support for all project work. Consult and partner with the business product owners to understand the end goal and offer solutions and recommendations during the design.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be building and releasing React Native production features, prototypes, and applications
Will be mentoring more junior engineers toward senior status and autonomy
Will be working to constantly improve development and release processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
3-7 years experience in mobile development
3+ years experience with Javascript
1+ years experience with React.js or React Native
Experience with animation and rich graphical interfaces
Preference for experience in native development for Android (DW note: team already has some native iOS experience)
Good attitude / team player - assumes positive intent in technical and non-technical teammates and avoids intellectual vanity
Cares about end user - deeply understands the importance of good user experience over an envisioned perfect system model
High ownership of user experience - thinks critically while discussing spec & building, ideates on improvements, and self-tests code before others test
