V Shred is looking for an experienced Direct Response Copywriter to join our team. You will be working on landing pages, VSLs, ecomm pages, and funnel copy assets to sell our digital programs, supplements, and coaching offers. The ideal candidate will have experience writing a variety of assets in the health and fitness space and a strong track record of high-converting copy.
Our Marketing team provides performance data and there will be endless opportunities to optimize funnel assets. We’re looking for someone who can produce great copy consistently, follow creative briefs, and has the desire to become a world-class copywriter with one of the biggest direct response marketing companies in the industry. This position reports to the EVP of Marketing & Sales and will be part of a bigger team as the in-house copywriting team grows.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work from creative copy briefs and maintain the brand voice
- Work with Marketing leaders to refine, edit, and optimize copy assets
- Work on a variety of assets, including VSLs, landing pages, ecomm pages, and ad copy
- Meet all copy deadlines
- Work with Marketing Team members on new offer launches, product launches, and other initiatives
- Collaborate with other Copy Team members as the team grows
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, our competitors, and new copy angles/concepts
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the direct response marketing space
- Portfolio of copywriting projects, including VSLs, landing pages, and ecomm pages (please include conversion data)
- Ability to produce strong first drafts that don’t require significant edits
- Ability to respond quickly to edits and revision requests
