Job Description:

As a vast growing organization located in Long Island Suffolk County area and is currently accepting resumes for our FT Sales/Production Support Administrator position. An organization who values all its employees; we seek a professional with a friendly attitude, ability to multitask, be initiative, be creative, has flexibility, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The selected candidate will be a representation of the organization and first point of contact. This position has an opportunity for growth in the near future. This position is based out of the Hauppauge Industrial Park area working Monday thru Friday normal work hours 9am to 5pm with potential overtime when needed and/or during busy season.

\*Salary varies from $25.00 - $28.00, pay will commensurate with experience, read below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Production
  • Provide information to customers regarding shipping date, anticipated delays, production turnaround times, and follow-up as needed
  • Assist with data collection and monitoring and management of client job management software system
  • Assist with management of purchase orders and reporting to assist billing department for final invoicing.
  • Monitor progress throughout production, and follow-up to ensure delivery by specified dates
  • Other duties as directed by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be a proactive self-starter who problem solves, follows through, and completes assigned tasks
  • Superior communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience not required but must have willingness to learn
  • Able to multi-task while maintaining quality control and accuracy
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, and work autonomously or as a team
  • Must be mature, comfortable dealing with employee at all levels
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Must be available to work assigned shift and overtime if required
