Inside Sales for Industrial Electrical and Automation Equipment
SUMMARY: Making sales to existing and new industrial electrical automation customers, assisting them by supplying them with product information for standard and custom solutions. Working with customers, our external sales staff, our independent representative to receive and write sales orders and coordinate with engineering on custom solutions and applications. Goal is to make existing customer base grow in dollar value and increase the existing base to add more customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned as needed:
- Provide support to sales including product availability, cost, manufactured products to
new and existing customers (B2B), regional sales managers, OEM’s and Independent
Representatives
- Receive and accurately review sales orders, including part number, pricing and proper shipping methods (including weights and dims of products for those shipments)
- Work with customer dashboards to accept and negotiate customer orders and request for ship dates and order acknowledgements
- Follow up with customer requests on shipping details, sales order status, and other inquires
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate should have a background and working knowledge of the industrial electrical automation products: soft starters, solid state AC motor controls and motor protection products.
- Must have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, the Internet, and Customer Dashboards
- Must have good communication skills
- Mathematical skills and the ability to perform financial analyses a plus
- Must have good judgment and be customer concentric
- Must be able to work closely with a diverse group of people
- Must have reliable transportation and good attendance
- This is not a call center position
- Must be local, Clearwater, FL (this is not a remote position)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Certification from college or technical school, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Quiet to moderate noise in an office environment
$22.00 - $25.00 to start
