Description:
Channel Control Merchants, LLC is now accepting applications for a RETAIL TRAINING MANAGER. We are looking for the ideal candidate who will educate and develop our retail team members using various methods, including online, classroom and self-directed activities. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and updating training programs for our retail team members. In addition, the role will prepare training programs that cover knowledge gaps. Note that this position requires experience in a retail environment and working closely with our retail leadership team to ensure goals are being accomplished. They will make sure our teams develop their skills and product knowledge, provide excellent customer service, and represent our brand in the best possible way.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze retail training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs through surveys, roundtables, and various other methods
- Track training programs and provide reporting
- Visit and evaluate retail stores on their implementation of training curriculum
- Create training materials, multimedia visual aids and presentations
- Create testing and evaluation processes
- Evaluate the retail training needs of the company and plan learning programs accordingly
- Provide leadership development education
- Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and training events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and any other resources within the authorized budget

Requirements:
Education and Experience
- The successful applicant must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in training and development in a retail environment
- Knowledge of not only classroom training but virtual training as well
- Instructional Design Background in a retail environment
- The ability to develop training based on knowledge gaps
- Proficient in using web-based resources for the distribution of training
- The ability to create evaluations to assess training needs

- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with LMS
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Interpersonal and people skills
- Travel to retail store locations – 30% of time
Work Hours and Benefits:
- Full Time position located in Hattiesburg MS or remote work depending on location of best suited candidate
