Staff Management is looking for a Retail Stock Clerk for a well-established company in the Newark, NJ area. This role is a contract role through December of 2024 and has a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. NO WEEKENDS! $20-$22/hour. Job Responsibilities

• Receive shipment and separate vending products on appropriate shelves
• Restock shelves during the day as needed
• Stock with older product from the closet first, newly received product goes on the shelves
• Deliveries are always requested for Friday; may arrive midweek depending on trucking
• Restock entire store shelves on Friday, fill shelves but not overfull as to where items can fall over
• Maintain product is neat and presentable for customers to shop
• Keep a stock of receipt tape in the cabinet
• Ensure the register receipt machine has ample tape roll for the week
• Morning setup of the store; reset and tidy where needed
• Minimum of 2 walk thru daily 11am before lunch break and 2pm before the team leaves for the day; reset and tidy where needed
• Maintain clean and presentable shelves: Dust around product to prevent buildup on the shelves where product is displayed
• Maintain that only fresh product is displayed and placed on shelves
• Check product expiration date, rotate inventory, and get ahead of expiration for discount wall (special 30-50% off)
• ISS will then create an article for each item (if product is new) in the Systopia system; description, price, scan UPC
• Price and quantity get added to the inventory sheet
• If price changes next quarter, ISS will make price adjustment in Systopia
• ISS to confirm receipt of freight and bring up to the 6th floor
• Confirm receipt of shipment by: Inventory all items and compare to BOL/invoice

Associate Requirements

• Experience in retail 1 to 2 years.
• Ability to read and use UPC Codes.
• Knowledge of POS.
• MUST be committed to working.
• Candidate must be active and keep busy.
• Know how to rotate products.
• HS Diploma or GED
• Background Check
• Able to Lift 50 pounds
• Drug Test

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
