- Reporting into the F&B Director
- The primary role of the Restaurant General Manager will be to supervise and administer front-of-the-house operations for the newly renovated restaurant.
- Ensure that a high level of consistent guest service is achieved and maintained.
Work Performed:
- Supervise all front of house food and beverage areas to ensure compliance with resort management objectives and the health and safety of employees and guests.
- Train staff in standards, new menu items and overall food & beverage functions.
- Ensure all departmental work schedules follow staffing guidelines and that staffing levels are sufficient to provide service in accordance with company guidelines and budget.
- Interact positively with guests while providing a high-quality dining experience.
- Promote hotel facilities and services.
- Manage guest feedback and resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
- Organize special events in the restaurant such as receptions.
- Monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
- Give guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
- Maintain positive employee morale and encourage team building.
- Maintain profitability of outlet to support overall resort operation.
- Ensure par stock levels are maintained, order and retrieve supplies and stock.
- Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of all aspects of operation.
- Create forecasts and revenue reports.
- Ensure maintenance of equipment and train staff on proper use.
- Special projects, run promotions, handle public relations, marketing.
- Enforce food handling regulations and other guidelines.
Requirements and skills:
- College degree preferred.
- 8+ years of previous Food & Beverage experience
- 5+ years as a Restaurant General Manager
- Ability to Interact with customers and represent the best interest of the Tides Inn.
- Must have a general understanding of budgets, P&L statements and Capex.
- Knowledge of F&B systems, inventory and point of sales systems.
- Ability to communicate across all departments.
- Expert knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations
- Considerable skill in math and algebraic equations using percentages.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations

Benefits:
Salary $85000- $90000
Bonus between 10-12% of annual
