Our Fortune 500 Healthcare client is looking for PR Manager.

Remote Position.

Duration: 3 Months

Hours and Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 08.30 AM to 05:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

The Manager, Public Relations (Contract) oversees the development and implementation of Health Care’s enterprise and practice communications with external media including reporters, influencers, stakeholder groups, donors, payers, clients, families, and partners.

With minimal supervision, the PR Manager works closely with the Manager, Media and Executive Communications and with Marketing colleagues, practice and division leaders across the enterprise to drive thought leadership and establish the brand as an authority and trusted source of knowledge and expertise.

The PR Manager will be primarily responsible for facilitating interviews or written responses with trade media, amplifying PR wins internally and externally, activating amplification of enterprise-wide awards across the Marketing Division, PR deliverables for marketing campaigns, and facilitating, tracking and analyzing the success of PR efforts. As needed, this role is also responsible for implementing internal and crisis communications, including with joint venture partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Exemplifies characteristics of: compassion, excellence and reliability.

2. Four (4) year college degree.

3. Seven (7) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

4. Five (5) or more years leading people or managing processes.

5. Demonstrated professional writing skills; PR / health care portfolio preferred.

6. Understands the company’s organizational structure, financial status, and operational goals/objectives; connects with the culture.

7. Ability to consult with customers and peers on the most effective communication channels.

8. Experience managing large PR and communication projects and campaigns.

9. Familiarity with industry media and solid knowledge of current communication strategies, with experience implementing them into projects and campaigns.

10. Experience with design thinking skills (problem identification, root cause analysis, empathy, expansive thinking, experimentation).

11. Ability to assess a solution's effectiveness using communication, validation with business sponsors, data analysis, surveys, and customer feedback.

12. Experience working with and managing PR and communications suppliers/vendors.

13. Ability to analyze and interpret market data into actionable information.

14. Demonstrates superior verbal and written communication skills and the interpersonal style conducive to developing PR and communications plans, messaging, and positioning.

15. Ability to develop and lead media and communication programs that drive measurable results.

16. Displays business acumen; uses data to drive PR strategies and communicate program effectiveness to stakeholders.

17. Fluid at building relationships to lead the work effort of cross-functional team members.

18. Ability to present to internal stakeholders and executives.

19. Possesses effective project management skills, including the ability to facilitate, plan, organize, and prioritize; able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

20. Strong knowledge of multi-channel marketing & communication strategies, including online and offline tactics.

21. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

22. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

23. Strong training skills.

24. Has comprehensive knowledge of the organization's policies, practices and procedures.

25. Acceptable pre-employment assessment results.

26. Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.

2. Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.

3. Develop and execute communications, media and engagement strategies that showcase BAYADA to both industry and national media; ensure measurement of results.

4. Monitor industry headlines and media inbox for opportunities and requests; consult with teammates and respond in a timely manner.

5. Support thought leadership initiatives with earned media alerts, PR pitches, and the research and writing of original content (i.e.; whitepapers, bylines, infographics, social media content. etc.)

6. Work with practice and division leaders across the enterprise on new products, solutions, and partnership-related announcements.

7. Ensure BAYADA’s inclusion in all relevant coverage in target outlets.

8. Manage outside agency resources in the execution of media and communications programs.

9. Provide media training as needed and prepare spokespeople in advance of any interviews or public appearances; track and provide feedback.

10. Provide counsel to key stakeholders across the organization about what constitutes compelling stories and how best to position news to maximize coverage and positive perception.

11. Measure the success of PR efforts and report on that to key stakeholders, adjusting strategies and tactics as necessary in real time to ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved.

12. Communicate and educate key stakeholders on the status of projects and programs.

13. Host Zoom meetings with internal and agency partners.

14. Perform related duties as needed by teammates or requested by supervisor.
