Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing both templated and custom content for proposal materials by working collaboratively with marketing, stakeholders and team members. Responsibilities include crafting engaging company overviews, detailing services offered, showcasing industry experience and expertise, incorporating client testimonials, outlining project methodologies, and ensuring clear contact information. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to convey complex information clearly and compellingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead strategy and planning meetings, serving as project manager to clarify content requirements and manage timelines.
  2. Research and analyze information to develop key selling messages and insights for proposals.
  3. Partner with subject matter experts, sales, and marketing to tailor messaging to target audiences.
  4. Write and assemble industry-specific or service-specific proposal content using business software, ensuring alignment with corporate marketing guidelines.
  5. Manage content reviews of existing proposal library
  6. Interpret complex information and present it clearly and persuasively.
  7. Review and edit existing content for conciseness, value, and adherence to brand standards.
  8. Communicate project status, address obstacles, and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
  9. Assist writing and review blogs, whitepapers, case studies,web site content and sales collateral
  10. Handle special projects and additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Writing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  1. 4+ years of experience in proposal development, content writing, and project management.
  2. Demonstrated writing and editing expertise with a focus on brand voice and messaging.
  3. Experience with Upland Qvidian preferred (other proposal automation software considered).
  4. Proven ability to collaborate with sales
  5. Background in proposal writing, bid management, marketing, copywriting consulting, and/or business development (2-4 years).
  6. Experience in the facilities management industry is a plus.

  2. Strong project management capabilities with a record of timely delivery.

  4. Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving expertise.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Other Requirements:

  1. Portfolio of proposal-style writing samples required.
  2. Willingness to travel 5% - 10% annually.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
