Wilton Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production employees and processes, managing resources, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project schedules ensuring efficient production flow.
- Revise schedules based on work order specifications, priorities, and resource availability (workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment).
- Read plans, complete layouts, and manage daily job production.
- Oversee onsite employees, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
· Collaborate with production team to track work progress and achieve project goals
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Work on tight deadlines and adapt to changing schedules.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for documentation.
- Communicate effectively through exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Handle tasks involving skilled and physical labor.
· Maintain an inventory of materials and parts needed for production.
· Purchase material and supplies
· Schedule and oversee inspections
· Coordinate, expedite, and track work in a steel fabrication shop.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is preferred.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a construction-related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Prior knowledge and experience with steel fabrication tools, equipment, and materials.
- At least two (2) years of experience forklift operation/ shipping and receiving heavy loads.
- Understanding of production processes, materials, and equipment commonly used in steel fabrication
- Experience with safety regulations, precautions, and quality control procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate resources effectively.
- Clear communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments is crucial.
- Problem-Solving abilities to address production issues, troubleshoot, and find solutions.
- Attention to Detail ensuring quality standards are met and accurate records are maintained.
- Able to address changing priorities and unexpected situations.
- Ability to focus and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
