Insight Global is supporting a medical software company in identifying a skilled Backend PHP Developer with strong experience in the CodeIgniter framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing web applications, resolving bugs, and ensuring high performance and scalability across platforms. This role requires strong backend development skills, collaboration with frontend teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
2. Perform regular maintenance and bug fixes to ensure optimal application performance.
3. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic.
4. Optimize applications for speed and scalability, especially for mobile platforms.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

1. 2–4 years of professional experience as a Backend PHP Developer with a strong focus on CodeIgniter.
2. Solid understanding of MySQL and core web development principles.
3. Experience maintaining and fixing bugs in existing applications.
4. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
5. Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
