We are seeking a Manager, Retail Social Media (contract) to lead our Ariat Brand Shop social media strategy and execution. This position reports to the Director, Social Media. The manager is responsible for driving organic social media platforms for all Ariat Brand Shops, supporting our community, and showing measurable value. Strong organization, attention to detail, creativity, resourcefulness, and a deep understanding of social media are critical in this fast-paced department.

Cross-functional partners include Retail, Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Brand Marketing teams.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in one of the following locations: Fort Worth, TX; Nashville, TN; Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; or Las Vegas, NV.

You’ll Make a Difference By

1. Leading social media strategy for Ariat brand stores to support key brand initiatives and retail business goals.
2. Developing and managing content calendars and publishing schedules across all store accounts.
3. Creating unique content (i.e. original copy, Instagram stories, photos, videos) optimizing for strong engagement rates.
4. Collaborating with Ariat athletes, artists, and local influencers to develop social-first content for brand shops.
5. Partnering with regional photographers and store managers to plan, schedule, and oversee monthly in-store content shoots from start to finish, including developing shot lists, submitting/logging invoices, and distributing galleries to the team.
6. Creating strategic shot lists for monthly content shoots that align with brand marketing campaigns, upcoming in-store events, visual merchandising priorities, and current/new inventory reports.
7. Maintaining an organized Smartsheet calendar to ensure all upcoming social media campaigns, in-store photoshoots, and task lists are clearly organized and current.
8. Inputting monthly creative brief requests for organic social media visual assets based on upcoming campaigns and brand shop inventory buys.
9. Participating in recurring team meetings, creative reviews, and 1:1 check-ins.
10. Traveling occasionally to support In-Store Events and Photoshoots.
11. Partnering with retail buyers, brand marketing teams, and store managers to amplify in-store and event experiences
12. Managing moderation of comments, tags, and direct messages to maintain a 100% response rate.
13. Driving local awareness and in-store traffic through targeted digital strategies.
14. Setting defined objectives and creating monthly performance reports.
15. Staying current on social media trends platform updates through competitor research, platform updates, and performance analytics.

About You

1. 3-5 years social media experience required, with agency background preferred
2. Ability to design and deliver creative content (imagery and video)
3. Excellent copywriting skills
4. Proficiency in CapCut, InDesign, Canva, Final Cut, Inshot or similar editing platforms
5. Must have strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
6. Solid knowledge of social media metrics and performance data
7. BA or BS required
8. Familiarity with Ariat brand and platforms such as Sprout, Planoly, Box, Smartsheet and Teamwork are a plus

The salary range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This contract position may be eligible for select benefits through the payrolling agency. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance options and 401k.
