We are looking for a Performance Marketing Leader with deep expertise in auto insurance to architect, scale, and own our DTC platform. This is a hands-on high-impact role, you’ll define strategy, build the team, manage the performance channel, and own the P&L for DTC acquisition.

Responsibilities

  1. Launch the DTC growth strategy for Rate Insurance Auto
  2. Own paid media across search, social, programmatic, affiliate, lead aggregators, and emerging channels
  3. Develop disciplined testing roadmap spanning creative, landing pages, offers, and funnel optimization
  4. Drive quoting, bind rate, and CAC efficiency while maintaining a focus on underwriting performance and LTV
  5. Partner with product, pricing, analytics, and carrier teams to align growth goals with profitability
  6. Establish attribution, analytics, and reporting infrastructure to track performance end to end
  7. Recruit and lead a high-performance marketing team
  8. Leverage Rate’s customer base and cross-sell potential to unlock efficient growth

Requirements

  1. Over 8 years in performance marketing, with at least 5 years DTC auto insurance experience
  2. Proven success scaling paid acquisition in the insurance industry
  3. Strong grasp of auto insurance economics: CAC, LTV, loss ratios, retention, and state-level nuances
  4. Experience managing large media budgets with clear accountability for ROI
  5. Expertise in optimizing quote funnels and improving bind rates
  6. Analytical problem solver comfortable making fast, data-informed decisions
  7. A builder mindset- you’ve launched, scaled, or rebuilt a growth program before
