THE ROLE:

We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate Performance Copywriter to join our Growth Creative team, who is passionate about helping driving performance metrics through hooks, stories and customer value through educating prospects and members on AG1 and the problem it solves. This role will be responsible for execution of performance assets for a brand that intersects health, supplements and education. This position will work closely with the growth channels and creative teams, as well as cross-functional team members to create and drive AG1’s value propositions and messaging across the marketing funnel.

The candidate should have performance-copywriting expertise and the proven ability to concept, iterate and create well-informed performance marketing content that educates prospects and members on the unique value that AG1 brings to the world. This role is for a growth mindset oriented copywriter who enjoys the challenge of delivering work that is put up to our a/b testing system. You get equally excited about how good copywriting can drive business results and the data behind it as you do about our current and potential members.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work with the Growth team to strategize and create a wide range of performance copy, including paid search brand & non-brand search ads, paid social ads, and paid partnership content (i.e. podcasts scripts).
• Maintain an insatiable curiosity about and deep knowledge of our flagship product AG1, the supplement market, the health and wellness market, human psychology and trends in order to deliver result-driven copy in the relevant platform and medium. Bring excellence and new ideas to performance marketing, email, DTC materials and digital teams.
• Work with cross functional teams to review and ensure quality of creative on all fronts (paid social, paid search, media, video, email and partnerships).
• Deliver performance copy that positively impacts performance metrics such as; CTR, CVR Completion % and CAC.
• Present and communicate creative solutions to team members and a variety of stakeholders.
• Consistently meet and exceed copy-deliverable deadlines.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years of performance copywriting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in G Suite.
• Demonstrated experience providing copy writing services in a high growth D2C online environment strongly preferred, particularly in the health space.
• Experience on writing across Paid Social, Email, Website / Landing Pages and sales funnels.
• Obsession of driving customer value and telling a story that drives an impact at each touchpoint.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
• Someone who understands and is passionate about supplements, health and wellness and meeting the human with the right message at the right time.
• Understands the creative process in ideating, working through concepts and doing the work to get the best result.
• A critical creative thinker that steps back and drives speed to execution.
• Passionate about copywriting and how it drives marketing strategy and overall business growth.
• Understands how to collaborate across functions, receive feedback and deliver based on that feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
• Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating copywriting excellence and results-getting messaging.

Athletic Greens is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $85,000 - $112,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
