2. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3. State-retired educators and candidates with experience in the education field are highly preferred.
4. Must be comfortable tutoring Kinder through high school students.
5. Must be a team player, fast learner, and comfortable multitasking in a busy learning center environment.

Interview Process

Our hiring process includes three required steps to ensure candidates are the right fit for our students and team:

1. Phone Screen Interview
2. A brief call to discuss your background, experience, and interest in the role.
3. In-Person Interview Includes: 30–45 minute Math Assessment and 30-minute Live Tutoring Observation

You will be evaluated on:

1. How you interact with kids
2. How clearly you explain concepts
3. Your ability to multitask while tutoring multiple students

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dedicated, and enthusiastic tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, enjoys working with children, and is motivated to make a meaningful impact on their academic journey.

Duties

1. Provide tutoring in Math, Reading, and Writing
2. Work with up to 2 students at a time, supporting each independently
3. Multitask effectively while managing multiple learning needs
4. Utilize learning technology to enhance sessions
5. Communicate clearly to identify learning needs and goals
6. Tailor instruction to individual student strengths and challenges
7. Maintain strong classroom management and organization
8. Assist with center upkeep and a clean learning environment
9. Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm

Experience & Qualifications

1. Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or similar roles
2. Strong background in Math (Integrated Math 1, 2, 3 preferred)
3. Experience with diverse learning styles
4. Early childhood education or special education experience is a plus
5. Excellent classroom management—organization, structure, and managing up to 6 students in the room
6. Bachelor’s degree preferred
7. Will train the right candidate
8. Fast learner who adapts quickly to center procedures and curriculum

Hours

1. Monday–Thursday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
