- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- State-retired educators and candidates with experience in the education field are highly preferred.
- Must be comfortable tutoring Kinder through high school students.
- Must be a team player, fast learner, and comfortable multitasking in a busy learning center environment.
Interview Process
Our hiring process includes three required steps to ensure candidates are the right fit for our students and team:
- Phone Screen Interview
- A brief call to discuss your background, experience, and interest in the role.
- In-Person Interview Includes: 30–45 minute Math Assessment and 30-minute Live Tutoring Observation
You will be evaluated on:
- How you interact with kids
- How clearly you explain concepts
- Your ability to multitask while tutoring multiple students
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dedicated, and enthusiastic tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, enjoys working with children, and is motivated to make a meaningful impact on their academic journey.
Duties
- Provide tutoring in Math, Reading, and Writing
- Work with up to 2 students at a time, supporting each independently
- Multitask effectively while managing multiple learning needs
- Utilize learning technology to enhance sessions
- Communicate clearly to identify learning needs and goals
- Tailor instruction to individual student strengths and challenges
- Maintain strong classroom management and organization
- Assist with center upkeep and a clean learning environment
- Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or similar roles
- Strong background in Math (Integrated Math 1, 2, 3 preferred)
- Experience with diverse learning styles
- Early childhood education or special education experience is a plus
- Excellent classroom management—organization, structure, and managing up to 6 students in the room
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Will train the right candidate
- Fast learner who adapts quickly to center procedures and curriculum
Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
