Department: RegistrarPosition: Part-TimeSummary:Pillar College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and is a member of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).The Office Coordinator of the Registrar’s Office is chiefly to manage the administrative operations of the Office and provide administrative support to the Registrar, including maintenance of academic records of new students and coordinating office procedures and activities.The successful candidate must believe in the mission of Pillar College. To apply submit resume to careershr@pillar.edu.GENERAL WORK PERFORMED, but not limited too:Oversees the organized and timely maintenance of student academic records (organizing, filing and updating physical files and digital records on server and in SIS) including monthly NSLDS ReportingPerforms periodic evaluation of satisfactory student academic progress; Monitors follow-up activities for SAP process (ARC; FA; advisor)Maintains reports on students with Dean’s & President’s list honors, multiple absences (as reported), as well as those on academic probation, sending appropriate correspondence for eachMonitors and maintains reports on faculty attendance and grade (mid-term & final) postingMaintains database of faculty courses and availabilityCreates and maintains student user accountsAssists the Registrar in preparation of academic catalog (tracks curricular updates from Curriculum Committee and updates catalog; updates Degree Completion Worksheets; maintains program versions in SIS (Campus Nexus))Ensures PC complies with FERPAAssist with organization and setup of academic events such as graduation, convocation, faculty retreats, etc.Support and maintain Registrar’s appointment calendar and email; fielding and screening of walk-ins, phone calls, appointment requests, and correspondence for the Registrar as necessaryQualifications: Experience:Previous experience as an office coordinator/manager or administrative assistant preferredComputer skill proficiency necessary for data entry and word processingKnowledge and agreement with Pillar’s mission and valuesAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationCommitment to customer-oriented serviceEducation:Degree or professional certificate preferredChristian Life:Commitment to ChristKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMulti-tasked orientated, attention to detail, self-starterHighly organized and independent workerExcellent oral, written and interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to apply teamwork skills to daily management of tasks and interactions with coworkersComputer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other commonly used software programs applicable to business operationsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentTo apply submit resume to careershr@pillar.edu.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
