Position Responsibilities:

  • As the first point of contact for members, identify and render the best service possible to all members including the ability to interact with other departments within the organization to answer questions

  • Promptly and accurately assists members at the counter, drive-up, phone or via mail correspondence with all financial transactions, including troubleshooting as necessary, while keeping information in the strictest confidence

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the member relationship through quality account deposits, loan referrals and/or credit applications and further promote credit union products and services to members

  • On a daily basis, balance the cash drawer with no variations

  • Take initiative for your personal development and stay informed of all credit union products

  • Comply with all Federal Regulations as they pertain to your job duties, including BSA


Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic math skills to count cash and balance cash drawer accurately and proficiently is required

  • 1+ years of work experience in a sales, retail or customer service environment with demonstrated success in achieving established goals is preferred

  • Proficient keyboarding and 10- key calculator skills, along with the knowledge and ability to efficiently navigate numerous computer systems

  • Traveling to assist the other local branches is a rare occurrence but may be needed. Employees will be paid travel time & reimbursed for mileage
