Marketing Support Specialist
Description of Duties & Responsibilities
Position Reports to: VP of Sales & Marketing
General Description: The Marketing Support Specialist is a professional who uses CRM and automation software to help manage customer relationships and experiences. They are also responsible for assisting the sales and marketing team by conducting research, analyzing customer and sales data, developing and tracking sales and marketing campaign performance, creating marketing materials, managing social media, handling of administrative tasks to support overall CRM and marketing strategies, providing guidance to business users of CRM, serve as the point-of-resource to all other departments, and ultimately helping to drive business success and growth through improved customer satisfaction.
The ideal CRM & Marketing Support Specialist candidate will:
● Have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
● Be an excellent collaborator or project leader with the ability to self-manage
● Have previous CRM and Marketing Automation experience – including but not limited to digital marketing, email campaigns, automation workflows, creative design, content creation, digital marketing and website maintenance, etc.
● Work collaboratively to understand business and customer needs and advise on industry best practices and standards related to sales and marketing.
● Be accountable to oneself, the department, and overall company success - whether profitability, company culture, customer service, or creativity
● Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a related field
● Be proficient with computers, especially MS Office, Google, CRM Software, social media platforms SEO/SEM and web design
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
● Act as the point-of-resource for all departments in the company relating to our CRM and sales leads.
● Develop initiatives at Stafford Smith by implementing enterprise standards, policies, workflows, and procedures surrounding CRM and Marketing (as approved by Executive Leadership)
● Work with VP of Sales and Marketing and other employees to enhance customer engagement, sales, and marketing to develop leads
● Own the responsibility for retention campaigns, from conceptualization to analysis. This will include idea generation, proposal preparation, overseeing production, and execution of marketing tactics
● Liaise with external vendors and agencies for CRM, Web Development, etc.
● Plan and execute approved initiatives to reach target audience through appropriate channels like social media, ecommerce site, and email
● Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
● Assist in analyzing marketing data like campaign results or conversion rates to help shape future marketing strategies
● Create and distribute monthly reports on critical metrics for lead generation, sales, content creation, web traffic, and other KPI’s
● Support the marketing and sales teams by writing, proofing, and editing creative and technical content across different mediums
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
