We specialize in life insurance, fixed & indexed annuities, LTC, and Disability Income solutions. Marketing Communications Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist develops, implements, and manages marketing communications strategies and initiatives that promote the company’s products and services. The ideal candidate has a strong background in communications, content creation, and digital marketing and is skilled at crafting compelling narratives that resonate with various audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and produce high-quality content for newsletters, event promotions, and weekly industry updates.
  2. Create clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for marketing materials such as brochures, email campaigns, website content, and PowerPoint presentations.
  3. Work closely with internal teams, such as Sales and Marketing, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of marketing efforts.
  4. Keep internal collateral material organized and accessible to our team and partners.

Campaign Management:

  1. Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement integrated marketing communications initiatives.
  3. Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to drive decision-making.

Event Coordination:

  1. Support the Marketing Manager with planning and executing events, trade shows, and webinars to promote company products and services.
  2. Coordinate logistics, create promotional materials, and follow up with event participants.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  1. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and other departments.
  2. Openness to feedback and integration of input from various team members.

Adaptability:

  1. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and emerging trends in the insurance industry and design field.
  2. Ability to pivot strategies based on market feedback and performance data.

Tech Savvy:

  1. Familiarity with marketing automation tools, content management systems, and other relevant software.
  2. Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or Associate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, or public relations.
  3. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style as needed.
  4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, social media management tools, email marketing software, Teams, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.).
  6. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic graphic design principles (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
  7. Website management and WordPress background are a plus
  8. Creative thinker with a positive attitude and a passion for storytelling.

Base Salary (Annual) $40,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.

Benefits: The position will be a full-time position and will be eligible for all benefits available to full-time employees. A complete list of company benefits will be provided separately. The

position will start with an annual rate of 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, accrued 10 hours each month and credited at the end of each full month of work. Please see E4IS Employee Handbook for all policies and procedures.

Location: Preferred location would be Fargo, ND offices.
