Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.
PPFA, PPAF and PP Votes (collectively, “National Office”) seek an independent and detail-oriented self-starter as our Manager - Electoral & Accountability Campaigns (Manager) within the Organizing & Electoral Campaigns (OEC) department of the National Office. This job reports to the Senior Director, Electoral & Accountability Campaigns in OEC’s Campaigns Team.
Purpose:
○creating and managing project plans and resources,
○managing team communication workstreams,
○collaborating with team members on vendor and partner management, and resource centralization,
○budget and cash flow monitoring, and
○cross-divisional review chain processes for ballot initiative elections supported by PPFA and/or Action Fund, PPVotes’ independent expenditure (IE) programs, and the Action Fund’s accountability programs.

○Independent expenditure, non-profit operations, and paid communications experience preferred
○Will need to flex between modes of communication and presenting strategic and program information to variety of internal and external audiences including visual and verbal presentations, data analysis and charts, and narrative summaries
○Strong communicator who can show progress towards goals to varying audiences and through various channels
○Must be able to motivate and lead teammates and colleagues who are not direct reports and across divisions and geographies
○Orientation toward developing authentic relationships with colleagues and partners built on trust, grace, and mutual responsibility
○Able to recognize and respond to problems with potential solutions and facilitate negotiations for solution-oriented agreements in a highly professional, confidential, and sensitive manner.

○Strong management skill set, including rigorous attention to detail, effective approach to communication, and ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines in a dynamic environment

○A flexible and adaptive approach to working with colleagues and being able to respond to the needs of a fast-paced operation
○Flexibility to work occasional extended hours and weekends.

Location & Travel: This position can be based in our Washington DC office or be remote with expectation for travel to DC for periodic meetings and events. Domestic travel needs will range from 0-25% but will be limited to major peak moments and only based on public health safety protocols.
$75,000 - $80,000 a year
Total offer package to include generous vacation + sick leave + paid holidays, individual/family provided medical, dental and vision benefits effective day 1, life insurance, short/long term disability, paid family leave and 401k.
