What We Are Looking For:
The In-House Stylist is responsible for styling all creative photo and video productions, ensuring the vision and intended fit for each product is represented and in line with the attainable luxury positioning of the ANINE BING brand. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with styling experience in the fashion, creative production, or PR industry. This candidate will enjoy a startup mentality and environment that changes day to day. He or she should possess a passion for styling, creative, fashion, trend tracking, and photo production. The In-House Stylist will work in an efficient, welcoming, detail oriented way on set; always representing the brand at the highest calibre, both in styling execution and demeanor, when working with talent and production crew.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee styling for all ANINE BING creative productions inclusive of brand campaign, editorial, eCommerce, live shopping, still life, Anine content, brand collaborations, and other production types as needed.
- Execute brand vision across all styling, with looks visually communicating Scandinavian simplicity with American energy.
- Build out and oversee styling decks for each production, identifying looks to be captured per shoot. Work through revision rounds, finalizing documents for final delivery.
- Factor in product launch dates, buy, revenue goals, seasonality, and internal merchandising strategies when styling looks to best showcase and market products.
- Serve as lead stylist on all style outs and shoot days, dressing talent and closely observing looks on set to ensure the product is accurately captured in frame.
- Review image and video selects to verify product accuracy and identify product-specific editing needs, communicating to retouching team.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Senior Art Director, and Photo Production Team, to effectively execute the creative vision behind each shoot.
- Partner with the Design & Merchandising teams, ensuring product fit is accurately understood and represented in all photo styling.
- With support from the Photo Production Coordinator, manage creative samples. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders as needed, track samples on set, communicating any concerns with Photo Production Coordinator, and help to find solutions.
- Build strong on-set relationships, including with talent, photographers, videographers, beauty teams, etc.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Fashion, Design, Marketing, Creative or a related field
- 2+ years of experience working in a styling or stylist assistant role
- Experience with fashion, editorial, eCommerce, and still-life styling
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred
- Strong and polished styling skills – keen eye and aesthetic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Multitasking, deadline driven, time management, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to switch focus between multiple projects

- Reliable mode of transportation to get to and from office & production locations
