BrainWorks Human Resources Search partnered with a local manufacturer seeking a Plant Human Resources Manager. This role offers a fast-paced environment and significant opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Description:

As the Plant HR Manager, you will lead and oversee all aspects of HR functions for our workforce of 200+ employees. You will be responsible for employee relations, performance management, HR strategic projects and initiatives, workforce staffing and retention, and benefits administration. This is a key leadership role that will contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, coaching, and talent development.
• Lead and participate in HR strategic projects and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and implement effective workforce staffing and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance, and providing guidance to employees.
• Supervise and mentor a direct report, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
• Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and employment laws to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Additional Information:

• The salary for this role is up to $100k, commensurate with experience, and includes a performance-based bonus.
