Job Description:

Adecco Creative and Marketing is searching for a Email Marketing Coordinator for a multinational company that publishes and distributes children's books, educational materials, and other media.


  1. $30/hr - weekly pay
  2. 35 hours a week
  3. 4-6 months for now with possibility of extension
  4. Work remotely in EST
  5. Must have prior enterprise level email marketing system experience


Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Email Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing the entire email campaign process, from implementation to post-deployment. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure email campaigns are executed flawlessly and meet client expectations. This position requires a strong interest in digital marketing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the email campaign lifecycle from setup to deployment, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  2. Query and manipulate data files to segment email audiences and ensure correct targeting.
  3. Set up and configure HTML email creatives in the email campaign management system.
  4. Schedule and deploy email campaigns in accordance with client specifications.
  5. Coordinate with internal clients to manage email copy and creative requests, including making minor HTML updates as needed.
  6. Work in a content management system (CMS) to build templated campaigns, ensuring consistency and quality.
  7. Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) checks on all email campaigns to ensure they meet client expectations and are error-free.
  8. Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
  9. Monitor email marketing trends, recommend improvements, and stay up-to-date on best practices.
  10. Collaborate with the email marketing team to develop and refine internal processes, procedures, and documentation.
  11. Assist in the training and development of junior team members.
  12. Serve as the liaison with the internal Customer Care team for handling cross-company opt-out requests.


Job Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Strong interest in digital marketing and email marketing strategies.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and clients.
  3. A hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented team player.
  4. Familiarity with database systems and a technical mindset; previous experience with Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic HTML is required.
  6. Experience with SQL is a plus, but not required.
  7. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Previous experience in email marketing or digital marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
